sodium alginate
Sodium alginate, also known as sodium alginate and alginate, is a white to light yellow or light yellowish brown particle or powder, almost odorless and tasteless. It is a high viscosity polymer compound and a typical hydrophilic sol. It is widely used in various industries such as food, medicine, printing and dyeing due to its stability, thickening and emulsifying properties, hydration and gelling properties.

Application
Industrial grade sodium alginate: in the printing and dyeing industry, sodium alginate is used as reactive dye paste, superior to grain, starch and other pastes. The printed textiles have bright patterns, clear lines, high color supply, uniform color yield, good permeability and plasticity. Seaweed glue is a slurry used in modern printing and dyeing industry, and has been widely used in printing various fabrics such as cotton, wool, silk, nylon, etc. It is particularly suitable for preparing dye printing paste; Printing and dyeing grade sodium alginate can also be used as warp sizing agent, which can not only save a lot of food, but also make the warp fiber lint free, friction resistant and less broken ends, thus improving the weaving efficiency, effective for both cotton fibers and synthetic fibers. In addition, sodium alginate is also used in papermaking, daily chemical industry, casting, welding electrode skin materials, fish and shrimp bait, fruit tree insect repellent, concrete demolding agent, high polymer coagulant and settling agent for water treatment, etc.
In the printing and dyeing industry, sodium alginate is used as reactive dye paste, superior to grain, starch and other sizes. The printed textiles have bright patterns, clear lines, high color supply, uniform color yield, and good permeability and plasticity. Algal alginate is an excellent slurry in modern printing and dyeing industry, which has been widely used for printing various fabrics such as cotton, wool, silk, nylon, etc. It is particularly suitable for preparing discharge printing paste. It can also be used as a sizing agent for warp yarns, which not only saves a large amount of grain, but also makes the fibers of the warp yarn lint free, friction resistant, and has a low breakage rate, thereby improving weaving efficiency, and is effective for both cotton and synthetic fibers.
